       How to do on-page SEO | Absolute beginner guide (+ tutorial picture)

After understanding those concepts, let's get a little bit deeper into why on-page SEO is so important for page optimization.

 why on-page SEO is important

 on-page SEO is important because it helps search engines understand your website and its content, as well as identify whether it is relevant to a searcher's query.

Google search engines they focus on HTML tags, structured data, Headers, etc. to give the relevant content to the user for product information that they search for.

If you put effort into on-page strategies, you'll see a boost in traffic and a rise in your search presence.

well, I guess that's enough of understanding to start with on-page SEO. Now, let's dive right into the examples of how few things are done for on-page SEO.

Add keywords to your post and page titles

To improve the ranking of your posts and pages in searches, you can:

• Include keywords that explain what the post or page is about.
• keep your titles around 60 characters long. A short and concise title will be more readable for users and won't get cut off.

 Here,online Blogging is included in both post and title of my blog which i want google to rank.
This will let people to see what the post might be about.

Note-: You can also add labels relevant to your post.

 

Add headers

• choose the post you want to work on and click Edit.
• Highlight the text you want to make into a header.

Search Engines crawls through different headings of the post to find the relevant content to its users.so, It's always a better way to add headers that are more relevant to your content. 

 Make your images searchable

To make your images searchable, and accessible for visually impaired readers,you can add a short description of the image, or alt text, and a title

• Add an image to your post and click it.
• choose Properties
• In the text box,add a long description in "alt" and a short description under "title"
• click ok

Rewrite your URLs

you can rewrite the URLs of your posts to make them more readable and help search engines understand what your posts are about.

• click New post.
• On the right,under "Post settings,"click Permalink.
• Choose custom Permalink.
• Add the URL you want to use.
• click Done.

Now,search Engine at least searches for this title to reach this post to the people searching for this topic.

Meta description

The meta description is an HTML tag,which looks like this in the HTML code for the page:

<meta name="description" content="A page's description, usually one or two sentences."/>

Its purpose is simple:it needs to get someone searching on Google to click you link.

In other words,meta description are there to generat click-throughs from search engines.

search engines say there is no direct ranking benefit from the meta description - they don't use it in their ranking algorithm.But there is an indirect benefit:Google uses click-through-rate(CTR) as a way of working out whether you're a good result.

if more people click on you result,Google considers you to be good result and will - move you up the rankings.This is why optimizing the meta description is so important,as is optimizing you titles.
